Vlog 26: Essie Glitters + Update

Well hey hey, y'all! This will be my first post of 2012, and I'm sorry to say that I don't have any nail pictures. I'm such a terrible blogger! I do have a new vlog though, and I'd love it if y'all would watch it and just catch up with me.

So before y'all watch it, I have a few corrections to make. First of all, I said something in here about not taking a picture of my last manicure. Um, whaaat? Obviously I need to look at MY blog a little more, because the last thing I posted was that manicure. So I don't know what I was thinking, but yeah. Also, my bangs were really bothering me. Y'all will notice that.

Alrighty! That pretty much sums up everything that's been going on. I'm so so so not looking forward to classes starting back, but you know, whatever. Also not looking forward to work. But I am really happy to finally have legit things to do. Like a set schedule. I think I've kind of fallen away from that, so it's good to get back into it. I have one Friday and one other Saturday off this month from work, so I will be reminding myself a lot that I have good things coming up. It'll take time to get here, but it's coming. I might have to refer back to this post, but good things are coming. And I have some pretty awesome people in my life that make it all worth while. So it's all goooood! ;)

Hey y'all! Long time no talk, huh? I'm so busy y'all just have no idea. I completely lied when I said I was going to try to catch up on here over break. It just hasn't happened so far, and I'm so sorry! I think about blogging every day, but just never get around to it. Mostly because I don't have any pictures to post, so it would kinda be a waste. But y'all can keep up with me a little more on twitter, so follow me! :)

But anyway! I can't believe the new year is coming. 2011 flew by for me. So weird. Last night I decided to do my nails. Actually, I guess I should go through the whole story. Since I've started working, I've noticed that my manicures really don't last longer than, at most, three days. And then they start chipping real fast. That annoys me to no end. I've really been wanting to try Shellac. And I'm definitely going to get around to that. Probably like next week or something. I had every intention of getting it done yesterday after work, but I procrastinated long enough and convinced myself to do my own nails. I'm so weird. But yeah. So I saw Essie Power Clutch and I was almost craving it. It's my favorite grey because it is SO PERFECT. If y'all haven't seen it or bought it, I'm recommending it. It's the perfect winter shade. I also got all 4 of the Essie glitters, so I added some of Set in Stones to my ring finger and thumb. I'm really loving this! Take a look. :)

Gorgeous right?!? I love it. Essie is really surprising me lately. The Luxe Effects glitters are so hot! I can't wait to use all of them. Have any of y'all tried them? Which one is your favorite? What are you sporting for the new year? Let me know!

Red & White Nails

Hey y'all! I hope y'all are all doing well. Pretty soon I'll have some time off since the semester will be over, and I plan to post more on here. I did want to share a manicure I got done in the nail salon, though. But I have the worst pictures ever. The sun has not been out in about a week. It's driving me insane. I miss the sun. I mean... I couldn't even get decent pictures of this manicure. And by the time I got around to the pictures, my nails were starting to chip. Such a bummer. But anyway, I brought in OPI's Chick Flick Cherry. I love this red! I think y'all already knew that. And since Arkansas had a big game that following Friday, I asked the nail tech if he could do something kinda fun on my ring finger. This is what he came up with.

It could have been better. But I still liked it. I hated the fact that this chipped so quickly, though. I'm seriously considering Shellac the next time I have $30 to drop. I'd love to see how long that would last on me. Have any of y'all tried it? Thoughts on it?

OPI: Hey Get in Lime! + China Glaze: Fairy Dust

Hey y'all! I know I'm terrible at posting on a somewhat regular basis, but life just won't slow down! I try to take pictures of my manicures, but sometimes I forget. So like when I wore that red butter London that I showed in my last video, of course I didn't get a pic of that. BUT! That was partly due to the fact that it chipped the next day. Actually less than 12 hours later. I was so mad! I almost never have that happen, and if it does happen it's usually with a cheap polish, not a $14 one. So butter London and I are kinda on the outs right now. I still love the brand, but what a let down that was! I bounced back quickly from that mess, though. The weather warmed up, so I was all about some lighter shades. I went for OPI's Hey Get in Lime! which is a pretty old polish. I've had it for probably two-three years, but I know it's from an older collection. I wanted just the tiniest bit of sparkle, so I added China Glaze's Fairy Dust to my ring fingers. You can barely tell it's there. I also got pictures of this right when it was chipping. And indoor pics, which I really don't like. But our lovely Memphis weather has prohibited me from getting any sunlight pictures. So don't blame me! ;)

I'm not really sure why, but I got TONS of compliments on this manicure. I really have no idea why. But I really liked the way it turned out, and it lasted for about a week. Pretty good, in my opinion! HGIL is one of the best OPI polishes. I love how it's minty green, but has enough blue in it to not be too pastel looking. And Fairy Dust is a crowd favorite, I know. It's one of the best glitter top coats out there.

I got my nails done yesterday in Razorback red and I WILL have pictures of that coming up soon! I'm just waiting for sunshine. I'm also ready for the Battle for the Golden Boot this Friday! GO HOGS! 10-1 baby! If we win this, only good things can come from it! I'm sad, though, that we lost one of our players after last weekend's game. I'm not sure if any of y'all heard anything about that. But one of our tight ends, Garrett Uekman, who was 19, passed away last Sunday. They still aren't sure what happened, but it's just so sad. We have something & SOMEONE to play for this weekend. I'll be calling the Hogs, and I hope y'all will too. W88 PIG S88IE! :)

I hope y'all have an AWESOME Thanksgiving! What all are your plans? Do you stay home or travel for the holiday? My family will be going over to the farm in Arkansas, so I'm excited! Y'all be safe wherever you're headed!

Essie: Super Bossa Nova & Vlog 24!

Hey y'all! So I finally have real things to post! I spent my Sunday afternoon prepping this post. I'm so happy to have something actually interesting to share. I know my last polish post was kinda ehh, so hopefully y'all will think this one's better. First of all, shout out to Edy for letting me use Super Bossa Nova! :) Here are the pics of that.

I'm quite positive this is the best pink EVER. I love love love it! It has a tendency to flash a little bit of blue in certain lighting. I think that's pretty cool. And! It only needs two thin coats. Score! I love a good two-coater. Plus the formula was perfect. So thanks again, Edy! I hope you'll love it just as much when you wear it. :)

So now for my 24th vlog! This one is long, just a fair warning. I had so much to say! I kept it under 10 minutes, though. So if y'all have the time to check this one out, I'd be so happy!

So yeah! That's what's going on with me! I just put on the butter London I mentioned in the video. LOVE it. It reminds me a lot of Ruby Slippers. So I might have a dupe on my hands. I'm not complaining though. Sparkly reds are where it's at! Just kidding. But they are pretty sweet if you're an Arkansas girl. :) BTW! GO HOGS! So proud that we're 9-1! I'm loving this season, but so sad it's almost over.

Sally Hansen: Get Ready Frost

Hey y'all! So I feel really bad for not posting anything for so long. My life is so hectic! And I'm sooo sorry for not leaving comments on blogs & stuff like that. I feel like I need one really good day to catch up on all the blogs I follow. Maybe I can do that this Sunday? I hope so! I work every weekend, so my Saturday is always shot. Unless I've made plans for the night, but still. I really like my job though, so no complaints! I also have a new boyfriend, so I'm gonna have to fill y'all in on that sometime soon. :)

I found old pictures of a polish I never posted. Why did I not post the pictures? Because the color is so incredibly boring. Like... I don't think I'll ever wear it. It's really not my thing, but it's pretty old, so I feel like it's kinda cool to have it in my collection. So I'm just gonna let y'all take a look at Sally Hansen's Get Ready Frost.

The formula was nothing special & it required three coats. The only thing that I think is kind of neat about this polish is the shimmer. I don't think I captured it very well on the camera, but it's there.

So what do y'all think of Get Ready Frost? Would y'all ever consider wearing this? Do you have a bottle or two in your collection that you know you'll never wear? Let me know!

Orly: Fowl Play

Hey y'all! It's been a while since I updated, but I've had the most gorgeous polish on my nails! I'm so sad it's starting to chip, which is why I couldn't put my index fingers in these pictures. Fowl Play is so amazing! It's a dark purple base with different colored flakes. I've seen some green and blue flakes in certain lighting. Y'all will mostly see gold/orange flakes, though. I'm sure most of y'all know all the hype surrounding this shade. I'd say it definitely lived up to the hype. I was just excited to find it! So take a look! :)

I actually got my nails done with this at the nail salon. I wanted my nails to look as perfect as possible. I mean... such a gorgeous polish deserves to look perfect, right?!? It did need three coats. It was still a little sheer with two. That meant that it took a little longer to dry, but it really wasn't that bad.

butter London: Wallis

Hey y'all! I know I've been talking about showing y'all Wallis & it's taken me forever to get around to posting, but it's finally here! I'm pretty sure everyone knows how exciting Wallis is and how excited everyone was to get it. I was lucky enough to find it when BL's went on sale back in September. So take a look at this gorgeous polish!

I'm always very impressed with butter London. I feel like it's 100% worth the $14 price tag. You're getting the most amazing formula, and a flawless application. So why not spend money on something that's gonna rock? Am I right? Anyway! This is the most gorgeous olive green with the most beautiful shimmer. If y'all are looking for the perfect fall shade, look no further. This is what you need to find. I also only needed two coats. I love only using two! It's such a pain to have to do three or more. I mean, three really isn't bad. More than three is, though. So this is just an all around amazing polish!

New Hair!

Hey y'all! I just wanted to a quick post to show y'all my new hair! I went in today to get it cut and I wanted something kinda different. So I ended up just getting it shorter. I did this last year around Christmas time and just loved having something different. Of course I was clear that I still wanted it long enough to be put in a ponytail. That's always a must for me. Like no joke. I get really fed up with my hair sometimes and just put it up so I don't have to deal with it. Take a look!

I'm really loving it! I feel like it's just the right length. I also got my bangs trimmed up and a little layering. One thing I never do is dye my hair. I just want to keep it nice and healthy. I'm sure when I'm much older I'll start coloring it. But for now, I'm only 18 and I see no reason to dye it. Plus I love the natural color of my hair. So that's that!

I had yesterday and today off of work and school (Fall Break) and I've just done a whole lotta nothing! It feels good not to have anything really important to do. On Sunday I went to get my nails done, just because I felt like I deserved it. I was so tired. Which makes me sound like such a baby because all of y'all work a lot harder than I do. But anyway! I wanted a light, calming color so I chose OPI Bubble Bath and I'm loving it. My nails also grew out so they're kind of back to the length they were before. And square! Yay!

I don't work again until Thursday. And school starts back tomorrow. Next week will be pretty good since I only work Friday & Saturday. And my uncle is coming in town. It's gonna be busy, but fun! I also need to show y'all butter London Wallis pretty soon.

butter London: Victoriana & A Job/Life Update

Hey y'all! I've found a little time to update, so I hope y'all are ready to hear some stuff! But first I want to show you pictures of butter London's Victoriana. I showed y'all the bottle pictures of this one and Wallis back in September. I got them when they went on sale at Ulta. I'm so so so happy I picked this one up! It's the most gorgeous blue with tons of silver shimmer. Take a look!

I seriously believe that you can never go wrong with butter London polish. It's always the most flawless application and it just has the best formula! I only needed two coats for this. Another reason to LOVE it. If they weren't $14 a bottle, y'all better believe I'd need a whole drawer dedicated to the brand. For real. Isn't it gorgeous? What's your favorite butter London shade? Did you pick any up when they were on sale in September?

So as y'all know I'm finally employed! It feels great to have that kind of freedom. I can already tell that things are going to get hectic, stressful, and maybe even a little emotional. At least I know I can get moody when things change. But that's just me. How do y'all balance the real world and life? I'd love to know. I have to balance college, with a boyfriend and social life, with family, with expenses, with babysitting, and with a real job. Am I going a little over board? I know most of y'all have way more to deal with, and I can't even begin to imagine what that's like! But anyway, I think I'm going to really like my job. I'm working at a Hallmark store, so it's mainly cards and gift type items. It's really not that complicated, but sometimes business can be slow. And that's when I go crazy bored. But the very BEST part is that I can wear jeans, so it's casual. Of course I need to look presentable. So no holes in my jeans, and a nice top. No problem. And nail polish? Whatever color I want. Thank the LORD! Ahh! For a first job, I don't think I could have found anything better. I will be working a lot though. I still get to babysit on Wednesdays, so I have that day off. And Sundays, because they're closed. So that's the update on my job!

Other life updates? Umm. I'm sure I could go on and on. Some of my classes seriously bug the $%@# out of me! I think that I get along with people pretty well, but these folks... not so much. Well I say that, but I'm not rude and I don't open my mouth, ever, to say what I really think. I believe it's best that I keep my mouth shut. So it's gonna stay that way. Other than that, things seem to be going okay. Although I am a little stressed with all the new things that are happening in my life, other things seem to be straightening themselves out. For now, at least. I hope things stay fairly normal for a while longer. I love when things go right! Don't y'all?

OH BTW! My Hogs! Oh goodness! What a season we're having! I was so so so proud of them on Saturday night. Quite a game for those little Tigers over in Fayetteville. I love a good pay back game! 5-1 babyyy! :)

Hey y'all! Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh. The game starts in about 30 minutes and my heart is pounding out of my chest! Go Hogs Go! Woo Pig Sooie! Beat those Tigers!

So this polish combo is probably my favorite yet. I found Teenage Dream the other day and can I just say... LOVE?!? It is so gorgeous. I want every single glitter OPI has put out. Seriously. So take a look!

I did ONE coat of My Chihuahua Bites! and ONE coat of Teenage Dream. Look at all that sparkle! Isn't it perfect?! It's the girl-iest manicure I've worn in like forever and I ADORE it. Sometimes you just need a pink, bling overload. Or at least that's what I needed!

This vlog just talks a little bit more about this manicure. I hope y'all will watch & enjoy!

Sonia Kashuk: Smoke & Mirrors

Hey y'all. I thought I had already posted about this polish, but I think I just talked about it in a vlog. So here's Sonia Kashuk Smoke & Mirrors. It's a gorgeous, sparkly silver that just comes alive in the sun. Take a look.

I've said it before, but I really don't like wearing silver polish. I love the way it looks on other people, but on me it just falls flat. It seems to show every imperfection on my nails, and that annoys me to no end. But I feel like this silver is right for me. It has enough sparkle in it to distract you from seeing any ridges on my nails. I just love it. I only needed two pretty thin coats. The first coat could almost be enough, but there were just a few bald spots that I wanted to fix up. I've also said before that I love Sonia Kashuk polish. I'm probably the number one supporter of the brand. I hate how expensive the make up is, but the polish is very reasonably priced. And the formula has always been great. It's an all around great brand for polish. So if you're ever in the cosmetics section of Target and want to check out something a little different, look for the Sonia Kashuk display.

I have some kinda good news. I have a job interview on Monday. I'm relieved to get good news like that. Now if all the other stuff in my life would just fall into place. I'm tired of all these ups and downs. I'm ready for something steady, that I know isn't going to change. But I'm pretty sure you don't ever get that. So it's time to suck it up and live with it.

I'm hoping for a happy weekend. I went to College Station today to get a new Razorback shirt, so I'm fully prepared for the big game tomorrow. I also got some cute red ribbon to tie in my hair. I've been telling everyone, but I SO wish I was going to this game. I think it's sold out, which means it's gonna be big. Y'all just don't know how much pride I have in my Razorbacks. I wish I could just get away now, and live in Fayetteville. And go to UA. For now I'm stuck here in a town that I'm pretty sure I'm done with. But reality check... can't leave now. Don't have the money. So I'm cheering from Memphis, TN! GO HOGS!

Chanel: Particuliere & An Update

So first of all, I need to apologize for my time away. My life is just ridiculously full of crap. I can't even begin to explain to y'all how stressful it is. I'm getting awesome grades in school, so it's not that big of a deal, but that doesn't mean that my classes aren't still stressful and time consuming. But my goal is to have a really good GPA so that I can transfer to a university easily. But on top of all that, I'm having relationship issues. And I need a job. And I go crazy if I stay in the house too long. Ugh. So that's where I've been, and where I'll probably be for a while. I hope I can get back to every day posting, but if it doesn't happen, I'm sorry. But my goal is that if that doesn't happen I'll at least be posting once a week. But no worries, y'all! I can't forget about this blog because I love it way too much.

So today I wanted to show y'all Chanel Particuliere. I just love this polish! It's just your basic, kind of mud brown. But how perfect is it for fall? I think it's great! Take a look!

I love Chanel. Love. Love. Love. Two coats is plenty for this polish. And the consistency is just right. Ahhh-mazing! I don't even know what else to say about it. ha!

Chanel: Paradoxal

Hey y'all! It's Saturday, so that means it's Game Day! My Razorbacks are in Dallas today to play Texas A&M. This is known as the Southwest Classic. I'm so excited to watch it! I'm feelin better about this game! We haven't lost to them in a looong time. So call the Hogs from wherever y'all are today! :)

I've had Paradoxal & Particuliere just sitting in my polish drawers for the longest time. Actually, I've worn both of them, I just never got around to taking pics and posting them here. So I thought I'd finally show y'all swatches, even if I am a little late to the game. Most of y'all know that Paradoxal is a dark, smoky looking purple, with lots of purple shimmer. It's just gorgeous in the sunlight. Take a look!

This is one of my favorite polishes to wear in the fall. To me, it just screams fall. I only need two coats for this because the formula is perfect. I've never had any trouble with Chanel polish, I love love love it! I also really like the brush. It's a little wider than just your average brush, but not to the extent of the OPI Pro Wide brush (which I also love). It's just great all around!

LA Colors: Amethyst

Hey y'all, Happy Friday! I have more swatching I need to do! I realized today that I'm running out of things to post. And I haven't made a vlog in a while. I have a lot going on right now, but it's really good stuff. :)

So today I'm going to show y'all LA Colors Amethyst. I found this for $1 at Big Lots. In the bottle it doesn't look too interesting, but once you get it on your nails you can see all kinds of different glitter in it. I was really excited to see it was different, and not just your average, sparkly purple. Take a look!

I used three coats because it was a little sheer. I loved the formula. And that's great since it was only a dollar. I suggest checking out Big Lots every once in a while, because you never know what you might find. I have found tons of good stuff!

Kleancolor: Born to the Purple

Hey y'all! My school week has finally come to an end! Y'all just don't know how happy I am to be done. I'm also excited for the Hog game this weekend!

Today I wanted to show y'all one of my new polishes. I ordered this Kleancolor off of Amazon. (Check out Amazon for some good deals on polish!) It's kind of a sheer glitter/jelly polish. It has purple hex glitter suspended in a lighter purple base. On my ring finger I had two coats over Chi Behind Closed Doors. I'm going to post this polish again soon with it layered over some other purples. For now, take a look at it alone and over BCD!

I used three coats and it was really easy to apply. You will want to let each coat dry, though, so the glitter pieces don't move around. I like it over BCD on my ring finger, but I don't think that's the right purple to layer it with. I definitely want to see it over a deep, dark purple. Maybe OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark? I'm going to have to get experimenting with it! I do have to add, this is my first and only Kleancolor, but I love the formula! I think I'll get more eventually.

Milani: Gold

Hey y'all! I'm typing this up before I head off to class. I found this gold glitter by Milani at Walgreens a while back. I'm not usually one for gold glitter, but for some reason, this one really stood out to me. I swatched it here alone, without any kind of base. I think you could probably wear this alone, if you wanted to. The glitter is pretty chunky and if you let it dry in between coats, you can probably get more even coverage. Take a look!

I used three coats just to get as much glitter on my nails as possible. I really really like this glitter! I'd like to go back and get the other Milani glitters. I think there's a multi colored one, and like maybe a pink? I'll just have to wait til I'm off my "no buy."

Maybelline: Cool Couture

Hey y'all, Happy Tuesday! I really should be studying for a Spanish test right now, but this sounded like it would be more fun. And I think I'm right. So Maybelline came out with some awesome polishes for Fall! I haven't seen anything really exciting from them in a while, so this new collection was quite a surprise. I instantly fell in love with Cool Couture just from seeing pictures of it. I think it's so gorgeous and unique to my collection. It's kind of a dark grey base with some blue and green shimmer. Take a look!

The shade is just gorgeous! I needed three coats, but, to me, that's normal. The formula? Eh. I know it could have been better, but I wasn't expecting anything fantastic. It was a little runny and I got some cuticle flooding. I had to start the whole swatching process over again because of the flooding, actually. Not cool. But once I got a hang of how the polish was applying, it was fine! I really love Maybelline. I have tons of polish from the brand and I love them all! This is no exception, besides the janky formula. I didn't pick up any other colors from the collection, but some of them were really interesting! I've kinda put myself on a no-buy for the time being, so this will have to be the only color I pick up.

Chi: Behind Closed Doors

Hey y'all! I'm bummed that it's already Monday. I always feel like I just won't be able to make it through another week of classes, but I always do! And once I'm back in school everything just starts rolling again and it's all okay. But I hate Mondays anyway.

So today I wanted to show you a Chi polish that I got on clearance from Ulta a while back. It's the perfect dark purple for fall. I really like to wear purples like this during this time of the year. They just look so good. Take a look!

I only needed two coats for this one. It goes on perfectly! The only complaint I have is that the brush is really, super skinny. It takes a lot of re-dipping in the polish, sometimes more than twice for just one nail. But that really doesn't bother me, because the color completely makes up for it, and the formula is top notch. You can find Chi nail polish at Ulta, and they're around $8-9. It's a little pricy, but, in my humble opinion, pretty worth it for what you're getting. I only have two bottles of Chi. One I got for Christmas a few years ago, so I didn't pay for that. And then this one which was on clearance for about $3. So I've never paid full price for a bottle. But I have seen some pretty awesome colors, so I wouldn't mind getting more.

Revlon: Blue Mosaic & Vlog 20!

Hey y'all! Today I wanted to show y'all one of my new favorite glitters! This is Revlon Blue Mosaic. It's a blue glitter with some green hex glitter thrown in. It's so pretty! And it is so FULL of glitter that you can wear it alone without needing a base. It's great! Take a look!

I blurred this one to kinda show how sparkly it is!

I only needed three coats for this. I let each layer dry a little bit before applying more. That helps a lot. That way you don't get any dragging or bald spots. I'm just so happy I got this! I don't usually love glitter this much, but this one definitely won my heart. What's your favorite glitter? Have you tried any glitters from Revlon? Let me know what y'all think!

Happy Saturday, y'all! Today my Hogs take on Alabama in Tuscaloosa. I'll be watching faithfully!

I just LOVE this polish I'm showing y'all today! It's really the only one out of the Touring America collection that I wanted. I'm so glad I found it! It's a deep coffee colored brown that is going to be on my nails a lot this Fall! Take a look!

I love the color, but I love OPI even more! I always love working with their formula, and the brush is my favorite! I only needed two coats for this! LOVE! Just so easy to work with and such a pretty color. So what do y'all think of this OPI shade? Did y'all pick up any other colors from this collection? If so, which ones? Let me know!

Wet n Wild Fast Dry: Blue Wants to be a Millionaire

Happy Friday, y'all! I'm so happy that my school week has finally come to an end. I'm just wiped out.

Today I wanted to show y'all Blue Wants to be a Millionaire. I posted Hannah Pinktana not too long ago, which is pretty much the pink version of this. I know this isn't a full on holographic polish, but it has little bits in there that definitely make it more than just your average glitter. Take a look!

I needed three coats for this one because it's really sheer. I'm sure this would make a good layering polish, but I haven't tested that out yet. I'm hoping to do some layering experiments soon. I really liked the formula on these. If they had more exciting colors in the line, I would probably own more than two polishes.

I promise y'all that I have more exciting polishes on the way! I've been swatching like crazy today! Do y'all have anything you want to see from my collection? Or any ideas on nail art?

Review: Mont Bleu Glass Nail Files

Hey y'all! I was asked to do a review for Mont Bleu, a company based in Prague, Czech Republic. They sell a lot of different beauty products, like glass nail files. So that's what I'll be reviewing for y'all! I was sent two files, and they came in this case, which you will see below.

I was told that they hand decorate with the crystals on the pink file. I think it's so pretty and the perfect amount of decoration for a nail file. Naturally, the pink one was my favorite of the two. :)

I was very pleased with these files. I think glass nail files are so much better for your nails, so I was very happy to review these. I usually go for the square look on my nails, and it seemed like that was a lot easier to pull off with these files, as opposed to a regular emery board.
And here's a picture of my naked nails on my right hand. My nails are still short, but I was able to square them off a little bit.

Overall, I love these files. They're so easy to work with. I found that the glass files are so much more gentle on your nails. I didn't feel that dragging that you normally feel with nail files. And the end result is a smooth free edge. I sometimes have problems filing my nails because the edge just feels so rough. I'll usually end up just clipping my nails down. Luckily, I didn't have to do that when I used these. I'm very impressed!

I also really enjoyed working with this company. They were very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. I highly suggest checking out their website, here, and consider purchasing a glass nail file or two!

CQ: Slate + Sinful Colors Nail Art: Fashionista

Hey y'all! I'm so ready for this week to be over. I'm just over it. I'm sure y'all know what I mean!

So I've been trying really hard to step up my game with nail art. The first SC nail art polish I bought was Fashionista, and I tried that out here with a base of CQ Slate. I was kinda going for the tiger stripe deal, but I don't think you can really do that with a glitter. I don't know. Y'all will just have to let me know what you think about it.

I LOVE the CQ polish! I'm almost always impressed with the brand. And it only needed two coats, which makes me love it even more. If y'all didn't know, you can find CQ polishes at Rite Aid and they're about $3 I think. I'm not 100% on that price, but they're not expensive at all. And the Sinful Colors Nail Art polishes have been popping up at lots of different drugstores in my area. Those are about the same price as the regular SC polishes. I noticed that Rite Aid has the largest color selection. Seriously, like every color under the sun. I'll definitely be going back for more!

On another note, I think I've purchased way too much nail polish in the last few weeks. It's all flooding my desk, and just getting kinda overwhelming. Never thought I'd say that. But I think I need to pay more attention to what I'm buying. There are TONS of polishes I want right now, but it's really not good for my bank account. I need to focus on the bigger picture. Everything costs money, so I should be cutting back a little bit on the unnecessary things. Y'all did want to hear all that, right? Ha. Didn't think so.

Well that's all I've got for right now! I'm thinking that Thursday afternoon & Friday will be swatch days for me. I have a lot to get caught up on.

butter London Haul!

Today's an exciting day, y'all! Ulta had their buy one get one free butter London deal going on! Y'all better believe I gunned it to my Ulta after my classes were over! Oh yeah. You can't miss out on this kind of opportunity. It's too good. I was really worried that there wouldn't be much of a selection, but there really was! I found Victoriana and Wallis! I knew after seeing Victoriana on one of my favorite blogs, Eat.Sleep.Polish, I HAD to have it! It's sooo pretty! And then, of course, I needed Wallis. Everyone knows how gorgeous that polish is! I was so happy when I found it!

Seriously... are these not the most gorgeous polishes ever?! butter London does it up good! I'm so happy to add these to my ever-growing collection. The best part about this purchase was the fact that, well one of them was free, but I also had my $3.50 off coupon. So what did I pay? About $11 for both of these! Holla!

Mini Haul!

I had a big weekend with some really exciting polish, so I want to share that with y'all today. I had ordered two polishes off of Amazon, and one of those was the Kleancolor polish I showed y'all in my last vlog. But I also ordered a Deborah Lippmann polish! I picked out Across the Universe! Ahh! Y'all don't know how excited I am! It's my first DL polish, and I have no idea when I'll be able to get another one, but this one is good enough for now!

I also went to Big Lots yesterday just to take a look at the cosmetics section. There really wasn't much in the way of polish, but I did find this LA Colors, Amethyst, for one dollar. Score!

And today I saw a new L'Oreal display at Walgreens and just couldn't resist picking up this polish. Oh my gosh I'm in love with it! I don't know if y'all will be able to tell from the pics, but it's kind of a dark base with like olive colored shimmer. It's gorgeous! I think the name is kinda cool too, Owl's Night. Kinda cool for fall!

China Glaze: Ruby Pumps

Hey y'all! It's Game Day so I have a red to show y'all! I told y'all in my last vlog that I got my nails done yesterday with Ruby Pumps, and I also ended up buying the polish from the salon. I'm so happy because this is the perfect red! And it's a good Razorback red! I couldn't get any sunlight pics because the sun doesn't want to cooperate with me today. And y'all will also see my super short nails. Oh well! Take a look at Ruby Pumps!

That last picture was to sort of show off the glitter/shimmer. Unsuccessful. I'm hoping to one day get really good pics of this with some awesome sunlight shots. This polish is completely opaque in two coats, which is perfect! And you don't need a solid coat of red underneath. It's not a layering polish. I do have to say that I had an incredibly hard time getting this to dry. I think the top coat the nail tech used wasn't very good. I have all kinds of finger prints (and even sheet marks!) on almost every nail. I don't understand that, because I stayed at the salon for what seemed like forever to let these dry. It just never happened. So I don't know what the deal is. The marks don't show up as much, though, because you kinda get distracted by all the glitter. It really doesn't bother me too much. The red is just too gorgeous!

Today my Hogs are taking on Troy at Fayetteville. Wish I could be there to cheer them on! It should be a really good game and an easy win. After Troy comes the big teams like Alabama and Texas A&M. I'm confident that my Hogs will have a great season! Woo Pig Sooie! And let's go SEC! College football in the South is in full swing! :)

Nina Ultra Pro: Sailor & Vlog 18

Happy Friday, y'all! I have a polish I swatched a loooong time ago from Nina Ultra Pro. Sailor is a dark blue/navy creme that I absolutely adore! Take a look at the pics.

This polish was very pigmented and only required two coats! I know my swatches of this are a little messy. It was back in July when I did this. I can't believe I'm just now getting around to posting it. I got this from Sally's on clearance. It's the perfect navy blue, and definitely has a nautical blue twist to it. I love it! ELF: Mango Madness & Vlog 17: Mini Haul

Happy Thursday, y'all! I'm sharing the last ELF polish from the set, Mango Madness. I was excited about this one because, well, it's a coral! Y'all know I love my corals! I'm finally coming to terms with the fact that these corals aren't going to be on my nails for a long time. I thought I should go ahead and get this one posted, since the dark colors are quickly approaching with this cool weather! Take a look at this beauty!

All of the ELF polishes needed three coats. But this one was also very easy to work with. So no worries! I just really like how all of these applied. I'm very pleased. What do y'all think of Mango Madness? Let me know what ELF polishes y'all are loving! :)

Here's my seventeenth vlog! I did another mini haul video, but since making this video, I've gotten more polish. I think another haul vlog is in store some time this weekend. We'll see! Also, I thought I should share something. I've been getting lots of comments about my nails and their length. I worked so hard to get them pretty, even, squared, and a nice length. Unfortunately, I had to cut them down today. I got some breaks, some nails were snagging on everything, and they were all uneven. At least I can start the whole process over again and have pretty looking nails once again. The next few posts will still feature my nails the way they were, though. Thank y'all for all the sweet comments you left me about my nails! Y'all are all very sweet, and I appreciate each and every one of you.

ELF: Lilac

Oh y'all. This week is insane. Tomorrow is my last day of the school week. Hallelujah! I'm hoping to put together a haul vlog. Hopefully some of the stuff I ordered comes in by tomorrow or Friday.

On to today's polish! This is the second to last ELF polish that came in the collection. I think I'll post the last one tomorrow. This was one of my favorites from the set. Purple is one of my favorite nail colors. This is definitely on the light side, but perfect for summer. Take a look!

This also reminds me of Easter. I'm going to have to remember some of these polishes when Spring rolls around. This polish also needed three coats. It was a little more sheer than the other ones, but not something you can't work with. I really had an easy application with all of them. So I recommend picking up this set if you see it. For those that didn't see, I got this at Big Lots. I highly suggest checking out your local Big Lots for polish. I know they can be nasty, but when you find pretty polish, nothing else matters. ;)

ELF: Fuchsia

Hey y'all! I know it's only Tuesday, but what a week it's been so far! I feel like I've been everywhere and done everything. But I know some of y'all are way more busy than me, so I'm not gonna complain, I'm just gonna tell y'all about it! I babysat for a long time yesterday. It wasn't one of my regular days so I felt like my schedule was thrown all outta whack. Plus I had my first speech today in my Oral Communications class. Ahh! Talk about nervous! I have another one to do on Thursday, so I've been preparing for that. I'm hoping one day I won't be as nervous when I get up to talk in front of the class. It's a lot harder than you think it is, but once you get into it you sorta just roll with it. I've also been studying for a Spanish quiz. My Spanish teacher is cahhhrazzzy! She just speaks Spanish the whole class period. I've taken Spanish before, so I kinda know some of what she's saying. But I don't understand enough of it! Needless to say, that's gonna be one of those tough classes. So that's what I've been up to, y'all! I just went through my dashboard to read blogs. So I feel like I'm kinda caught up!

I thought I would continue on with the ELF polishes. Today I'm showing y'all Fuchsia. Real creative name. It was a little hotter today, definitely felt like the middle of July. So here's a hot summer shade!

I needed three coats for this one, too. But like I've said before, I don't think that's a big deal. I think it looks pretty good! It's kind of similar to Purple Pleaser, but definitely more of a pink. And more of a summer shade. I'm pretty happy with it!

ELF: Purple Pleaser

It's Monday, y'all. Ugh! I'm posting this before I head off to class because I'm going to have a really busy afternoon/night. This is another one of the ELF polishes from the set I got at Big Lots. It's a pretty beet/raspberry red/pink/purple. I know that probably doesn't make any sense, but that's what it looks like to me! Take a look.

Most of the ELF polishes in the set needed three coats. But, to me, three coats is pretty much normal. The formula was just fine, and it was really easy to manage. I really like the color! The set was supposedly a summer collection, but this definitely reminds me of a fall color. So I don't know what's up with that. Oh well! At least I have another dark color to wear this season.

No Miss: Daytona Sand

Hey y'all! It's already Sunday. I'm so not ready for another week of classes. Oh well! I've had this polish saved up for a long time, and I don't know why I haven't already posted it. I swatched it back in July so my nails definitely look a little different. Here is No Miss Daytona Sand!

I bought this at Whole Foods in Jacksonville back in July when we were visiting. I bought it mostly for the name, since we lived pretty close to Daytona Beach. I think No Miss is a Florida based company. Every polish had a name that somehow correlated with the state of Florida. Anyway, this was I think three coats. It's a nude/natural color, so that means you can kind of do what you want with it. It's not supposed to look fully opaque or anything. I love polishes like that! Especially in the summer. I thought I should go ahead and post this now, since summer is definitely on it's way out. Oh, I loved the formula by the way!

So what do y'all think of Daytona Sand? How do y'all feel about nude/natural polish shades? Has anyone tried No Miss nail polish? Let me know!

ELF: Blue Mist

It's Game Day, y'all! SEC football at its finest. After I type this up I'm getting ready to watch some Razorback football! WPS!

A few vlogs back, I mentioned that I found a set of five different ELF polishes at Big Lots. I wanted to show one of my favorites to y'all. This is Blue Mist, a light, pastel blue. It's so gorgeous! Take a look.

I did need three coats, but it wasn't a hard formula to work with. ELF really doesn't make bad polishes. I'm usually very impressed. I think this blue would be perfect for like an Easter themed mani? It's just that kind of blue. It reminds me of spring and Easter eggs. Isn't it pretty???!???

Jesse's Girl: All Things Girly & Vlog 16!

Happy Friday, y'all! I wanted to show y'all the only polish I picked up from the new JulieG collection for Jesse's Girl. I vlogged about getting this one a while back. I wasn't real happy with it. But I do think the color is pretty! It's a light tangerine/pink color that is great for the end of summer. Take a look!

I had a horrible time applying this. I love Jesse's Girl polishes, but I was so disappointed in this one! I was happy that I didn't pick up any more. It was just a streaky mess that never seemed to cover my nails right. By the third coat it was really thick and I just didn't love it. The color, though, is really nice. But the application definitely overshadows that. Have y'all tried any polishes from the JulieG collection? Or just from Jesse's Girl in general? What did y'all think of the application? I'm really interested to see if anyone else had similar issues, so let me know!

And here's another vlog. I totally understand if y'all don't want to watch this one. I did this one because of a request on youtube. If y'all are interested, though, it's about some of my favorite makeup products and one product I wasn't so happy with.

Wet n Wild Fast Dry: Hannah Pinktana & Vlog 15!

Hey y'all! Happy Thursday! I hope everyone has had an awesome day. I'm one hundred percent drained. I don't have classes Friday, thankfully, because otherwise I'd be one unhappy camper. Anyway, here's Wet n Wild Fast Dry Hannah Pinktana! I don't really know if this qualifies as a holographic polish, so I need y'all to tell me if it is! Take a look at this pink sparkly goodness!

I tried to capture this at all angles, because it is just gorgeous! It comes alive in the sun, it'll make you want to stay outside all day just to look at it. I really liked the formula. It was thin and needed three coats, but it was really easy to manage. As y'all can see, it is pretty sheer. I like it that way though. I'm sure it's an awesome polish to layer! I also really like the brush. It's larger and rounded. Those types of brushes work really well for me. These Fast Dry polishes are also on sale right now at Walgreens for $0.99. Check them out if you're interested! So what do y'all think? Do any of y'all have this polish or any other polishes from the brand? Let me know!

Happy Wednesday, y'all! I realized I never actually posted swatches of Unicorn. I did a vlog of how I do my nails and this was the color I used. If you're interested, you can see the vlog here. Honestly, I don't think there will be another yellow that will win my heart like China Glaze Lemon Fizz. But this one isn't too bad. It's kind of the same as Lemon Fizz, just a light pastel yellow. Check it out!

I needed three coats, at least it wasn't like five! Some yellows can be that way. I also didn't use a white base or anything, so maybe you could do that and get away with two coats. The formula was just fine. I always get along with Sinful Colors, thankfully!

Sonia Kashuk: Fatigued

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday! I kinda had a long day, but that's ok! Today I wanted to show y'all a polish that's a little more interesting than the Revlon's I've been posting. So here's Sonia Kashuk Fatigued! I mentioned this in my last vlog, and let me just say... I LOVE it! This is the perfect fall, army green. Take a look!

The walls downstairs are kind of a similar green, so I just wanted to show a comparison pic. :)

I only needed two coats because it is SUPER pigmented! I've said it before, and I'll say it again... I love Sonia Kashuk nail polish! If y'all don't have any polish from Sonia Kashuk, or haven't tried them yet, get yourself up to Target and pick up a bottle! They're about $4.99, which is totally reasonable, don't y'all think? Well anyway, I was just really excited about this polish and was dying to share it!

Revlon: Winter Mist

Happy Labor Day, y'all! I hope everyone has had a nice, relaxing weekend! I've had such a great weekend. My Razorbacks won 51-7 against Missouri State on Saturday night! I seriously had the best time at that game! I'm ready for the rest of the season. Woooo Pig Soooie!

Today I'm going to show y'all the last polish from the mini Revlon set I found at Big Lots. I don't know about y'all, but I'm tired of showing these little Revlon's. I'm ready to talk about something else. ha! Anyway, this is Winter Mist. It's just a basic grey. No shimmer or anything, just grey. I do like this shade because it seems like grey is going to be pretty big in the fall & winter. Take a look!

I only needed two coats for this one. It was a little more pigmented than I was expecting, which is always good! The formula was also good, just the right consistency. I don't really have anything bad to say about this set. All three polishes had a great formula and great application. The colors weren't all that unique, but I still liked them.

Revlon: Pink Ice

Hey y'all! I thought I'd just continue on with the mini Revlon set. So this is Pink Ice. It's basically your standard bubble gum pink... or pepto... with silver sparkle. At first I wasn't really interested because it was just a basic pink, but the silver sparkle is gorgeous in the sun! I tried really hard to get a good sunlight picture that showed it off, but it was almost impossible. Take a look!

I did need three coats for this one, but three coats isn't bad. And they were thin coats. The formula was easy to work with again, just not as pigmented as Cherries in the Snow. These Revlon's have been a joy to work with! I wish I could say that about all Revlon's, but I can't.

Revlon: Cherries in the Snow

Happy Saturday! I thought I'd keep the red going just for this special Razorback football weekend! This is from the mini set of Revlon's I found at Big Lots. I'll be showing the other two pretty soon. This was a very pigmented polish, and it kind of has pink tones to it. I still classify it as red. Take a look!

Two coats was all I needed! The formula was great, and the polish was super easy to control. Sometimes with Revlon it's hit or miss. The formula can be awesome, or it can be terrible. I'm glad I lucked out on this one! Actually the whole set was pretty good.

OPI: Chick Flick Cherry + Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear: Black Out & How To Call The Hogs!

Hey y'all! Happy Friday! I hope everyone has had a great day and that y'all have an even better weekend! As y'all know I'm heading to Fayetteville, AR for the first Razorbacks game of the season. Woo Pig Sooie!

So I decided that I definitely wanted my nails to be red for the game, and this is the perfect "Razorback Red." OPI Chick Flick Cherry! I added four little dots to my ring finger. It's such a sad attempt at "nail art." I'm sorry y'all, it must be a big let down. But I hope y'all will enjoy the pics!

Chick Flick Cherry only needs two coats and the formula is fantastic! I love working with OPI polishes because they are always good. And I'm like best friends with the pro-wide brush, so you know. I used SH Xtreme Wear Black Out for the dots, and I used my dotting tool. Which I love, by the way! Since dots are the only thing I can do, that little tool has been a tremendous help. So what do y'all think? Lame attempt at nail art? Pretty red? Let me know!

butter London: Jaffa & Vlog 14!

Hey y'all! I'm so glad it's Thursday... or Thursday night. I don't have classes Friday, and I am beyond grateful for that! I also can't believe it's September. Time is seriously flying by.

So the summer is almost over. When college football starts, my Fall starts. Because of that, I'm trying to show y'all all the summer polishes I've got saved up on my computer. I have a lot. And I'll probably have more even when it's fall & winter. Just lettin y'all know. Today I wanted to show y'all butter London Jaffa! It's a gorgeous coral polish that I rocked this spring and summer. I am now butter London's #1 fan! I need to get my butt back up to Ulta to pick up some more of these polishes. Take a look at the pics!

3 coats for coral-y goodness! I know for a fact that this can look amazing at two coats, because I took this to a nail salon to get my nails done, and the manicurist only used two coats. And it looked great! So why I needed three coats, I really don't know. So what do y'all think of the color and butter London? Have you picked up any BL polishes? If so, which ones and how many do you have?

Essie: Power Clutch

Happy Wednesday, y'all! I wanted to share my new favorite Essie with y'all today. I wore this about two weeks ago, and I had to photograph my right hand because it had fewer chips. Weird. But anyway. This gray is so perfect! I'm definitely wearing this a lot in the fall, y'all just have no idea! Take a look!

This was perfect at two coats. The formula is awesome. The color is amazing. All I know to say, is GET IT! If you've been looking for the perfect (can I say perfect more????) gray, this is it. Oh, did I mention I love it?!?

Tapping Tips: Creamy Coral

Hey y'all! My second day of college was also successful! I love all the freedom. It just feels good. So today I'm kind of sticking with the American Eagle theme I have going on, only this polish is from Aerie. They came out with some polishes this summer (I remember because I screamed when I read the email that said so...). These are much bigger than the little AE polishes at .50 fl oz. They're $7.50. And while that price is a little high, it's much better than the price for the AE polishes. I would consider stopping into Aerie to look at the polishes and other cutesy items they sell if you haven't already. They had some other colors out, but not a lot. This one stood out the most to me since I love corals so much! So take a look at this truly creamy coral!

I used three coats for this one, and the formula is pretty good, very manageable. This is one of those polishes that's kind of a mix between a cream and a jelly. I really like those because they just seem so easy to work with. The coral is just right, too. A good balance between red and pink. I will definitely be going back to look at the other polishes. I always find something I need in there anyway, so I might as well get the polish, too!

American Eagle: Purple

Hey y'all and Happy Monday! Today was my first day of college and I survived! It wasn't bad at all, and my schedule is pretty good, too.

I thought I would show y'all the other polish I picked up from American Eagle. Again, these don't have names, so this is just going to be called purple. This is one of my favorite shades of purple because it's kinda eggplant colored. I love dark purples like that! I tried to capture the shimmer/sparkle in this, so I hope y'all will be able to see that. Take a look!

These polishes are pretty pigmented and the formula rocks! I only used two coats for this, but one was almost enough. The only problem I've found with this is the staining. Y'all most definitely want to wear a base coat with this. I also think the price is a little ridiculous, but at least the great formula makes up for it.

Hey y'all! I really wanted to share this GORGEOUS polish I got for my birthday! Here's Dior Violet Nouveau Monde or New World Purple. I'm so amazed at how beautiful it is! Thank you so much to my Mom & Abby! I love y'all, and thank you (and the rest of my family!) for making my birthday so special. :)

I only needed two coats and I just loved the formula! It dried super fast, too. I did these last night before I went to bed and I didn't get any sheet marks. Success! :)

American Eagle: Blue + Sinful Colors: Frenzy & Major Thanks!

Hey y'all! I've been swatching a lot lately, and today I wanted to share one of the American Eagle polishes I picked up! The AE polishes aren't named, but that's okay. This is just a basic, kind of sparkly blue and I topped Sinful Colors Frenzy on my accent nail. I really loved this combo, so take a look at the pics!

The AE polish is super pigmented! I almost left it at one coat, but I decided on two. And I only did one coat of Frenzy. Isn't it pretty over blue? I think it's a great combination that I will definitely be coming back to! The formula on the AE polish is AWESOME, but the staining is pretty bad. I didn't use a base coat underneath, because it's just a swatch, but I recommend using a base coat if you're going to wear it in a manicure. So what do y'all think of the blue and glitter together? Has anyone tried the AE polishes, or even the ones from Aerie? Let me know! :)

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear: Pumpkin Spice & Vlog 12: Haul!

Hey y'all! I've got lots to share today. First, I know a lot of people wanted to see Pumpkin Spice so I've swatched that for y'all. I did three coats and my pinky has four coats just so y'all can see how it builds up. I was a little disappointed to see that it's a pretty sheer polish on it's own. The base isn't as black as I thought it was going to be. It's more of a grey/black, or charcoal with orange glitter. Take a look.

Even though it does look a little sheer with three coats, it's still a unique polish, at least in my collection. It has that "glowy" look to it, too, which I think works really well for fall and especially around Halloween. I do like the look of it at four coats (pinky). But I know most of y'all aren't fans of a fourth coat. I can't say I blame y'all, because I really don't like it either. I think what made this polish so sheer was how thin the formula is. But let me just set the record straight. I do like this polish. Below, I've layered two coats over one coat of Xtreme Wear Black Out. I LOVE the outcome of this layering experiment, so take a look!

That's how I wanted Pumpkin Spice to look on its own. But I'm perfectly content layering it over black to get this effect. I really like it. What do y'all think? Have any of y'all tried this polish alone or over a black polish? What is your take on it? Please let me know! I'm curious to find out what y'all think!

OPI: You Don't Know Jacques!

Happy Wednesday, y'all! This week is moving way too fast for me. I need it to slow down just a little. Since I'm so extremely ready for fall, I've swatched a lot of darker colors, and this is one of them. OPI You Don't Know Jacques! It's a dark mushroomy brown that's quite pigmented. Take a look!

I took these pictures in late afternoon again, so the sunlight picture isn't as bright as it could be. But I'm pretty sure everyone knows what this color looks like. I've seen it about a million times on other blogs. And I've had this shade for like a year, so I don't know why it's taken me so long to get it on here. But it's here now, and fall is definitely on its way! I only needed two coats for this because, as I said, this is nicely pigmented. The formula is the perfect OPI consistency.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear: Very Cherry & Twinkle Twinkle

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday! I wanted to share two fairly new polishes in my collection. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear has some new polishes out (which includes Pumpkin Spice...) and I've picked up a few of them. Very Cherry was the first one. It's a sparkly pinky red. And then I also got Twinkle Twinkle which is just your basic silver glitter with some hexagon shapes thrown in. Have a look!

I used two coats of Very Cherry and one coat of Twinkle Twinkle on my accent nail. I love both of these. Very Cherry is kind of unique in my collection. I like how it leans pink, while still being a little red. And Twinkle Twinkle is a really fun glitter. I've been wanting to add more glitters to my collection, so that's partially why I bought this. There was also a gold glitter in the collection, but I usually go more for silver. As I've said before, I really like this brand. I have tons of polishes from them, and the formula is always great. They're about $4, totally worth the money.

Savvy by Femme Couture: Shimmer Time

Happy Monday, y'all! All I can think about is going to the Razorbacks game in a few weeks. So, needless to say, RED is on my mind! So here's one I picked up about a month ago on clearance from Sally's. It's Savvy by Femme Couture Shimmer Time! As I've mentioned before, red is one of my favorite colors and I find it really weird that I don't have very many reds in my polish collection. I'm trying to remedy this situation. And that's why I picked up this beauty. It's your basic red with a little shimmer so it's really sparkly in the sun. Check out the pics!

I took these pictures in the late afternoon, early evening. The quality isn't as good, but I tried to pick the best pictures that kind of showed off the shimmer. It's a gorgeous polish! I needed three coats. There's nothing really wrong with the formula, but it is kind of thin. I think most people could get away with two coats, though. I think I just threw on that third coat for good measure. This is the only bottle from this brand that I own. Like I said, I got this one on clearance, so I don't know how much these regularly cost. I don't usually pay attention to this brand when I'm at Sally's. Usually because I'm blinded by all the pretty China Glaze, Finger Paints, and Orly polishes. haha. :)

Wet n Wild: Night Prowl

Hey y'all! Happy Sunday! I only have one more week til I start classes. And my birthday is on Saturday. I think it's gonna be a kinda busy week. Oh well!

Today I wanted to show y'all Wet n Wild Night Prowl. I bought this one a week or two ago and I'm sooo glad I did! It's got a blackened base with tons of purple glitter. It is sooo gorgeous! I think it's perfect for fall, especially around Halloween. I took a lot of pictures, so check it out!

I needed three coats, but I think a more skilled painter could get away with two. The first coat is pretty sheer, but the color builds so nicely. It's one of those polishes that looks like it's glowing from underneath, kinda. I do have to tell y'all that when it dries it feels a little rough, so you might want a top coat. But other than that, I didn't have any trouble with this polish. I'm usually very pleased with Wet n Wild. These Wild Shine polishes are only $0.99, so definitely check them out. And the color selection is pretty good!

Essence: Date With the Night

Happy Saturday, y'all! I'm so excited because I was able to convince my Dad that we needed to go to the first Razorbacks football game of the season, and the tickets are on their way! I had to pay for them... but I don't care. It was only $100 for 2 tickets. I think that's reasonable.

So today I'm showing y'all Essence Date With the Night. This is a grey/brown that has a metallic looking finish. It definitely shows brushstrokes, but the color is pretty enough that I don't think that matters. On to the pics!

I needed two coats for this one. It was a little thicker than other polishes I have from this brand. I was surprised that one coat wasn't enough because usually that's about all I need. Two coats is completely do-able though, so it's not a big deal. Essence polishes are only $0.99 and you can find them at Ulta. Essence also has other cosmetics. I happen to like their eyeshadows. Everything by the brand is reasonably priced, so if you're looking for good makeup at a decent price, Essence is the way to go! They also have a pretty nice selection of polishes.

Urban Outfitters: Hangover

Happy Friday, y'all! I'm hoping for a good weekend, which includes convincing my Dad that he wants to take me to the first Razorback football game. I'm pretty convincing, so I'll let y'all know how that turns out!

I'm showing y'all my last Urban Outfitters polish. I only own four, but I know I will accumulate more. This is Hangover, a light peachy toned orange. It's a super creamy polish with no shimmer whatsoever. Maybe that sounds boring to y'all, but in my opinion, not so much. I don't own any other color similar to this. For some reason it reminds of like an orange creamsicle. Is that even a thing? I don't know. But this is a gorgeous light orange shade that is perfect for spring and summer.

I needed three coats for this one, but that didn't bother me. The formula rocks, so it's not an uphill battle trying to make the polish look neat on your nails. You know how sometimes that third coat can just get icky and goopy? This did no such thing. And that's why I love UO polish so much. I also used a top coat to make it extra shiny. I highly suggest picking up Hangover if you're ever in UO!

OPI: Give Me Moor! & Vlog 11: My Polish Picks for Fall 2011

Hey y'all! I have two things for y'all today. Vlog 11 and this OPI polish- Give Me Moor! This polish is a blackened purple, that looks black in most lighting. I think sometimes it leans a little red, but I include it in my purple collection because that's what it looks like to me. It's the perfect shade for fall!

I think this one shows more color than Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees. You can see the purple/red in it. I used three coats because the first two coats show a lot of bald spots. The formula is awesome, though, so three coats didn't bother me. So what do y'all think of this OPI shade? Good/bad? Let me know! :)

And here's my eleventh vlog! I'm really in the mood for darker polishes and cooler weather, so that's what inspired this video.

OPI: Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees

Hey y'all! I'm excited about today's polish because I wore it not too long ago and I just adore it! I know I'm gonna wear it a lot this fall. It's a blackened smoky blue with the tiniest hint of shimmer that isn't noticeable unless you're in direct sunlight. I couldn't even pick it up in these pictures.

I needed three coats because the first two are a little sheer. The first coat is so sheer that you feel like it will never build. But it does, and you get the finish you see in these pictures. The formula was fantastic, like most every OPI. I love the prowide brush because it covers my nails perfectly. I know some people don't like that, so if you're one of those people, you'll want to be extra careful when applying this. And I just thought I should add, this is definitely one of those colors that looks black in most lighting, so if you're not a fan of that you should pass on it. It is perfect for the fall though!

Essie: Limo-Scene

Happy Tuesday y'all! Today I have a light, dainty polish by Essie called Limo-scene. It's a pretty sheer polish, but every once in a while I want to wear shades like this. It's calming and a nice break from all the crazy colors I wear.

I used two coats because I liked the way it looked. I think three coats would be just as pretty, but it may take longer for it to dry. I've always had a hard time with shades like this, because it seems to take forever to dry. And I somehow find a way to ruin my nails while they're in the process of drying. So the amount of coats on this one is up to the painter!

China Glaze: Lemon Fizz

Hey y'all! I'm sharing my new favorite yellow polish today! Y'all know I hate working with yellow polish, but... I found one that I just adore! China Glaze Lemon Fizz!

Here's the best part about this beauty... TWO coats... no white base underneath! What??!!!??? That never happens! I'm tellin y'all. Go get this if you don't have it. I love the formula, I love the shade of yellow, I love everything about it. I've never worked with a yellow polish that applies like a dream, but this one definitely does. So if you're looking for the perfect pastel yellow, this is it. What do y'all think? Do you like the shade of yellow? Do you hate working with yellow polishes? Let me know!

Now, for those of you who read my post yesterday, I said I would tell y'all which polish was on each of my nails. Jesse's Girl Glee was on my index and ring fingers, and Essence Choose Me was on my middle and pinky fingers. I think one person actually guessed that right! But as y'all can tell, they're 99.9% the same. If you aren't sure which one to get, I say go for the cheaper option, which would be Essence Choose Me. It's $0.99, compared to the $2.99 price tag on Jesse's Girl polishes. Both have great formulas, so if you find one and can't find the other, just grab it! :)

Alright y'all. I have a special post today. I've swatched both Choose Me and Glee and I want y'all to decide which nails are painted with each color. My index finger and ring finger are one color. And my middle finger and pinky are the other color. So here are the pics in the sun and in the shade.

And here are the bottle pics to help y'all out a little. Honestly, the differences are sooo minor that it's so hard to tell I'm wearing two different polishes. I'll tell y'all what shades are on my nails tomorrow. I want to see how many of y'all guess correctly. :)

Happy Saturday, y'all! Today I'm sharing Sally Hansen Chrome Nail Makeup in Gold Chrome. I found this one not too long ago in some nail kit I was given years ago. I'm so glad I found it because it's kinda old school. I like it! It's got an olive tint to it, which I think is pretty cool. I think that's the gold, though, and it just shows up olive in different lighting.

I needed three coats for this one because it's a little sheer and my bottle is running kinda thin. I also used a top coat to smooth out some of the imperfections I was seeing. This is one of those polishes that will always show brushstrokes. That's not really something that bothers me, but the top coat helps hide them a little bit, in my opinion. So what do y'all think of the color? Do any of y'all have these Chrome Nail Makeup polishes? Let me know! :)

And here's my tenth vlog! I'm not really sure why the quality is a little sketchy in this one, but it's not too bad. I also made the music at the end a little longer than normal. It's the song I'm currently obsessed with. :)

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear: Grey Area

Happy Friday! This week has gone by so fast, I can't believe it. Today I wanted to show y'all this Xtreme Wear, Grey Area. It's a mushroom brown with dark purple undertones. It's a great color for fall!

It's super shiny and highly pigmented. I only needed two coats for what y'all see in these pictures. The formulas on the Xtreme Wear polishes are always great. I have a lot of these polishes in my collection and I would recommend trying them out if you haven't already. I think they cost around $3 or $4 and you can find them at drugstores, Target, WalMart, etc.

Sally Hansen Nail Prisms: Bronze Ruby

Today I'm going to show y'all Sally Hansen Nail Prisms in Bronze Ruby. As soon as I stepped outside to take pictures of this one, the sun completely disappeared. So I'm sorry I don't have a good sunlight pic of this one. It's still a pretty color and you can kind of tell how it shifts colors in the last picture.

In the sunlight it kind of takes on a gold-ish color. I guess bronze, actually. But it really is interesting. I needed three coats because it's a little sheer. If y'all watched my 8th vlog you know I layered this over black and it didn't do anything especially interesting. But it kind of brings out the red in it. I have no idea where you can get these because this just came in a nail kit I got years ago. And it's the only Nail Prisms polish I own. I have seen some pretty ones though!

So what do y'all think? Do y'all have any Nail Prisms polishes? Or even this shade? Have you tried layering them over black? Let me know!

CQ: Peachy Keen & Vlog 9: Recent Haul

I looove this color. I think it's so pretty and girly. A color I love for spring and summer. I didn't have a flawless application, it was a little more difficult to work with and it required three coats. But it could have been a lot worse! So I'm not complaining. CQ: Mint Green

Today I have another CQ polish to share with y'all. This is Mint Green, a soft pastel green that would be perfect for the spring... or anytime really. :)

I'm really loving these CQ polishes. I only needed two coats for this shade, and the application was perfect. I like the color a lot, especially since I'm really into pastel shades. CQ polishes can be found at Rite Aid and they're about $3 each. I've seen these at WalMart before, but not the ones here in Tennessee. I highly suggest checking these out if you ever get the chance!

CQ: Corduroy

Happy Monday! How was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty boring and laid back. Anyway, I intended on having a mini swatching fest today, but that was quickly cut off when a big cloud completely covered my house. So I was only able to get about five polishes swatched. This was one of them! Corduroy is a dusty turquoise with a great formula that covered completely in two medium coats.

I didn't like this with the first coat, but after the second coat I really liked it. And then I saw how good the pictures turned out and I liked it even more! I think it works really well with my skin tone. What do y'all think? I really like CQ polishes. I currently own five, and y'all will see two more of them pretty soon. They have a great formula and most are pretty pigmented. The brush also fans out just the right amount and fits my nail bed perfectly. These polishes cost around $3 and I find mine at Rite Aid. I've seen them at WalMart before, too.

For a while I was all about adding glitter to every single mani. I'm not as into that as I used to be, but I'm starting to like the glitter accent nail. But that's *such* a pain to remove. Oh well! Sula: Haze

I've been meaning to get this Sula polish swatched for the longest time! I finally got around to doing it. Haze is a light, almost sky blue. It has a dusty look to it.

Sula Paint and Peel polishes are pretty unique. If y'all haven't heard of these, they're water based polishes that you're able to peel off when you're done wearing them, instead of using polish remover. I think that's a pretty neat concept, and they do peel off pretty well. The formula on these is a little tricky, though. Since it's water based, I think it's a little harder to apply. I used a base coat for this, and the first coat went on perfectly. The next coat was a little weird though. It got kind of bumpy- you can see that on my index finger. I'm not sure if this is just my mistake or what. Do y'all have any idea? I have one other Sula polish, and I didn't get any bumps. I bought this for $9 at Ulta. But I haven't seen them at my Ulta. I got this one in Florida, so maybe that's why. My Ulta does carry other Sula products, though.

What do y'all think? Does anyone own any Sula Paint and Peel polishes? Any tricks for better application? Let me know!

Urban Outfitters: Barstool

I forgot that I still had some Urban Outfitters polishes to show y'all. All I swatched was this one- Barstool. I still have Hangover to swatch. Barstool is a light, cloudy, dusty looking blue.

I'm still in love with UO polishes, y'all! I can't get enough, seriously. The formula rocks. The colors are unique. And the bottle shape is just too cute. I thought I was going to have a hard time getting this polish to the bottle color. But nope! The first coat was super sheer. But it builds! Three coats was the perfect amount and I was able to achieve the bottle color. I love it!

What do y'all think? I strongly urge y'all to check out UO if you haven't. They do have a website you can look at, too. If you live near one, go get some polish! They're only $5 each and the last few times I've gone, it's buy 2 for $8. Great deal! Let me know if y'all ever get some or have swatched some I haven't seen.

Bonita: Turquoise

Happy Friday! Today I have Bonita Turquoise. This is a very dark turquoise jelly that's very pigmented. In the shade, this color can lean on the black side.

Once again, I loved the formula. Like I said, it's very pigmented and it's a jelly-which is my favorite! I used three coats because there were just a few bald spots after two coats. If you're a little more careful during application, you can get away with two coats. I was in a hurry to get this swatched, so I made a few mistakes. I can see myself wearing this in the fall because of how dark it is. I really love it though! I think it looks good on me, and I'm just amazed at how good these little tiny polishes are! And they're cheap- yay! These Bonita polishes can be purchased at Francesca's for $1.50 a piece, or 2 for $2.

Bonita: Coral Reef

Happy Thursday! I'm going to show y'all my new Bonita polishes today and tomorrow. Today is Coral Reef. It's a bright orange with a pink flash that reminds me a lot of Sinful Colors Cloud 9, but a little more on the pink/red side.

I was really surprised with this polish. The formula was awesome, super smooth and easy to apply/control. The brush was the perfect size for my nails. I used two medium coats and a base coat underneath. You can buy Bonita polishes at Francesca's. They're $1.50 each or 2 for $2.

What do y'all think of the color? Do you have something similar to this? Have any of y'all been to Francesca's and picked up any polish?

One Polish Haul, Awesome News, & Pinterest!

Hey y'all! I had a pretty exciting weekend! I only bought ONE polish which is totally amazing because that's not usually how I roll. I stopped in Rite Aid to look at polishes and nothing caught my attention except this little CQ polish, Peachy Keen!

I thought it was super cute and the name is cute. I'm excited to try it out. I enjoy my CQ polishes. The formula is usually fine and I always enjoy looking at the display. So why not?!

Ok so now my exciting news! I got a car today! My Dad gave me his 2009 Ford Fusion and I'm in love! I love Fords and always knew I wanted one. I've mentioned before that I really wanted a Ford Escape... but I'm not complaining! I'm so excited to finally have my own car. But it does mean I have to pay for everything. And get a job. I don't want to do either of those things, but it's time! Where should I look for a job? I only have two ideas of places. And I don't want to work in a grocery store or with food. I want to work somewhere different, maybe a place I enjoy going to. That way it's a unique job and one that I will hopefully enjoy. Exciting!

Now on to Pinterest! Have y'all heard of this site? It's really fun! All you do is sign up via email (it's free), search for something, say NAIL POLISH! (or whatever you want. I've been searching a few different things and one of my favorites is SEC football. And of course Arkansas Razorbacks!) and all these really cool ideas come up. Pixel: Spicy Little Thang & A Semi-Successful Water Marble!

Sorry it took me so long to swatch this Pixel polish! Here's Spicy Little Thang.

Don't y'all just love that name? I think it's cute. Let me start by saying that I'm glad I only paid $1.99 for this polish. That's about all it's worth. Although I really love the color and it was a two coater! But goodness. I first had problems when I opened the bottle and there was a bristle significantly longer than the others hanging from the brush. That was easily fixed because I just pulled it and the whole thing came out. At least I was able to get rid of that. But the brush did give me problems. All the bristles were a little different in length, and that made it hard to get an even amount of polish near my cuticles. Needless to say, I had a hard time applying it. But I love that bright pink/coral and I can see myself wearing this since I'm all about coral in the summer. The bottle's tiny but kinda cute, and the name is cute, too. So there are some good things about this polish. :)

And now for my semi-successful water marble! I so admire people who can water marble and have it actually turn out looking flawless. I really do. And I wish I was as good. Yesterday I decided to try water marbling. I've tried once before but it was just a hot mess. I quit after that. And that was about a year ago. So last night I tried again. Unsuccessful. But I didn't wanna quit altogether. So I tried again today and finally got the hang of it! I was/am so excited! My pinky turned out the best so that's what I'm going to show y'all.
I used a white base, Wet n Wild French White Creme, the pink was Sonia Kashuk Tutti Frutti and the blue was Sonia Kashuk Ocean Breeze. The Sonia Kashuk polishes work really well together, and I've always thought that. Probably because I bought them at the same time. But anyway, I just think this turned out awesome! I was so happy. I showed everyone. :)

Wet n Wild: Red Red

Happy Friday! Today I'm going to show y'all my new favorite Wet n Wild polish: Red Red!

For ninety nine cents, I say go get this! If you need a good, basic red... you need this polish. I only needed two coats and the formula was great! I'm not surprised, though, because I've always had good luck with Wet n Wild. I think this will look good on just about everyone. I can see myself wearing this a lot for Razorback football and also around the holidays. What do y'all think?

Today was a great day. My weekends are usually a lot better than the days during the week. I'm not really sure why. I guess it just feels like there's more to do. Today I went with my Mom and Grandmother to check out this place in Memphis called Jerry's Sno Cones. Ahhh! It was so perfect for such an extremely hot day. I wish everyone could live near this because the snow cones are out of this world! And because we're a little backwards... we went to Central BBQ *after* we had our snow cones. We shared nachos, and brought home barbecue for the weekend because my Dad will be in town. Fun stuff! It might not sound like much, but these places are in the heart of the city. We live a little outside of Memphis, so it's fun to get out and explore. :)

I'm not really sure what I'm up to this weekend. Hopefully something fun. What are y'all's plans for the weekend?

How I Store My Nail Polish

A lot of y'all have asked how and where I store my nail polish. I don't think I could have done this in a vlog, so instead I took pictures and I'll show y'all this way. I have a bed side table that has four pretty good sized drawers. Inside each drawer are boxes that have dividers, and that's where my nail polish lives! I have two baskets that I use for the extra nail polish that doesn't fit in the dividers. One is on top of the table and the other is in the third drawer. You'll see those on here, too. So enjoy and let me know what y'all think!

This is the table. As you can see, it's right next to my bed. I have my reading lamp, pictures, candle, and a few other little things.
Here's a close up of the things I keep on it. I like it to be simple and not full of junk. ;)
This is a close up of my favorite picture. I found the frame at Hallmark for about $15. But I'd been looking for anything that said ASAP As Southern As Possible for the longest time and finally found it last summer immediately after we moved back to Memphis. In the frame is Barney. My sweet pup that was with me from the very beginning. He lived to be about 19 years old, and I miss him more than y'all can imagine. My parents had him for a few years before I was born, so he was there when I came home from the hospital. And so began our long time friendship. I also have a lot of his pictures on the memory board above my desk. It's still very hard to think about him without crying. We were best friends- love you buddy! :)
This is the first drawer. It contains a bunch of different things. I have some lotions back in the back, artificial nails I was sent a long time ago, nail files, cotton balls, removers, dotting tool, felt, etc. And the doublemint box has more little files and manicure tools. I also have my ridge filler in there somewhere.

This is the second drawer. And the first box with dividers. I keep all my "high end" polishes in here. Or what I consider high end polishes.
You can see Chanel, Sula, Chi, Nars, OPI, Essie, Zoya, Borghese, Sephora by OPI, No Miss, and Urban Outfitters polishes. Maybe I should re-word this and say this box contains the polishes I like the best? Or think most highly of? I don't know. I'm weird. But I thought the nicest polishes should go in the nicest, leopard print box. ;)

This is the third drawer. I have polishes like Rimmel, Sally Hansen, Orly, etc. in here because there are more of them. The brands that I have the most of usually go in here because they fit a little better. And then I always know where they are. This way I don't have a hard time picking out the color I'm thinking of. Works out pretty well!

And this is the pink basket I also keep in the third drawer. I have China Glaze in here mostly, but then I also have brands that I've bought in two's. Like Finger Paints. I only have two bottles from Finger Paints. So some of my groups of two's also go in here. Not many, though, because it doesn't hold very much.

This is my fourth drawer and also where the rest of my two's go. This also contains my Wet n Wild and Maybelline polishes. Then I have a little corner dedicated to my polishes that I only have one of. Like I only have one NYX polish, so it goes in that corner. And then a few other brands like Del Sol and CQ are in the main part of the box.

And this is my last little green basket. It sits on top of the table, because green goes better with my color scheme in my room. This houses my Sinful Colors and then my mini OPI sets. Pretty simple!

I'm so glad I finally re-organized my polishes! They've always been in this set up, but for a while they were all over the place because I was working on nail wheels. It was a pain to look for a certain polish because I knew it wasn't in the place it would normally be. It was a little overwhelming for a while. ha! I did a pretty rough count, but I think I have about 269 polishes at the moment. Crazy!

Urban Outfitters: Tanline

Happy Wednesday! Today I'm showing y'all Urban Outfitters Tanline.

This is what I'm referring to as a neon coral. I needed three coats for full opacity and it dries matte pretty quickly, so I used a top coat for a shiny finish. The formula on this one was not as good as Smush, but still not bad. It was a little thick and not as easily controlled, but I was able to make it look good. I think you should let each coat dry completely before painting more. I think I'll try that next time because I really love this polish! Urban Outfitters has not let me down at all, and I'm so happy I discovered their polishes!

What do y'all think? Does anyone love UO polish as much as I do? I still have Hangover and Barstool to show y'all. Which would you like to see first? Hangover is a very light, pale orange and Barstool is a medium, jelly blue.

Chanel: Peridot

I think y'all were most excited to see Peridot when I vlogged about buying it. So here it is!

Such an AMAZING color. And one I know I will wear a lot this fall. I needed three coats because the formula is just a little watery. I don't know that you can apply this polish without having some visible brush strokes. That's just the type of finish this polish has. I don't mind that. I think if the polish is pretty, I'm happy and I don't really care if I can see brush stokes. I think I'm also trying to find every good thing about this polish because of the hefty price tag. That's really not hard though, because I'm in love! Gold and green go really well together, and I don't think it looks bad against my skin tone. I'm thinking I'll wear this on my birthday, too. ;)

So what do y'all think? Has anyone else splurged on Peridot or any other Chanel or high end polish? Let me know!

OPI: Gargantuan Green Grape

I had my mini swatching fest today, and this was the first one I did. OPI's Gargantuan Green Grape! :)

I had to cut my nails down because I honestly cannot stand when my nails get too long. When I was little I always thought I wanted long, beautiful nails. And I would pretend that I had long nails. Now I know I can only stand my nails to be sort of long for a few days and then I get to cutting them off or filing them down. Anyway, GGG is a really pretty light, pastel green. I definitely don't have another green like this in my collection, so I'm so glad I finally decided to purchase this! Like I said in my vlog yesterday, I had picked this up about a hundred times and never actually bought it. Why? I have no idea. I'm glad it was still available and didn't become a polish I always wished I had gotten. The formula on this is okay. The first coat is pretty streaky and it seems like you'll never get the polish to build. I think if you're very careful and generous with the amount of polish on your brush, you might be able to pull off two coats. I, however, am not so skilled and three coats was what I needed. I love it though! It's a fun, light, summery shade and I regret not buying it earlier in the summer. I could have worn it so many times already. Oh well!

Vlog 5 & My Weekend!

I'm seriously loving making these vlogs! I hope y'all are enjoying them, because I'm having fun making them and coming up with ideas.

I've had a pretty busy weekend. Friday I booked it up to the closest Dillard's at the mall and fully intended on just asking a sales person about the Chanel polishes, but I actually bought Peridot. I didn't plan on that, but I didn't want to risk waiting too long. So I'm now the proud owner of Peridot and I couldn't be happier. It's my birthstone, so I'd feel weird not having it. Is that weird? It might be... oh well! Friday night I went downtown with my Mom, Grandmother, my sister and her boyfriend. The Orpheum theater in downtown Memphis plays movies on Friday nights during the summer. During the month of July they play movies that have Memphis roots, so this Friday it was The Blind Side. That's one of my *favorite* movies! So good, and really fun to see it on such a big screen and in such a cool atmosphere. So that was a lotta fun. Saturday I went to American Eagle with my Mom for new tank tops and then out to Ulta to use my coupon! Fun stuff. Today I got to see my uncle who was in town for the weekend. We had lunch, went to Urban Outfitters (of course!) and then went to YoLo for frozen yogurt! I had a pretty good weekend. :)

Tomorrow I plan on having a mini swatch fest. I have so many other polishes to show y'all! And I know y'all want to see some nail posts. What did y'all do this weekend? Any polish hauls? Let me know!

Urban Outfitters: Smush

I finally took off Tart Deco last night! I don't know why I waited so long to take it off, but sometimes I just don't have the patience to work with polish. But with all these new colors I've picked up recently, it was time to test them out! So the first one I've swatched is Urban Outfitters Smush. I can tell you right now this is working it's way to being my all time favorite polish!

This was TWO coats of a perfect, almost too good to be true formula! LOVE! At the first coat I was beginning to think it would be a nightmare, but after that second coat it was just pure love. This is much brighter than Essie Turquoise & Caicos. That's good for me because I think it's working a little better with my skin tone. The only other color I can come up with in my collection that this might be similar to is Color Club Blue Light. But I already like this one better because of it only needing two coats.

I am 100% head over heels for Urban Outfitters nail polish. If you have access to UO, get some polish!
